The Wall Street Journal reports increased interest in foreign direct investments in Africa from $32 billion in 2005 to $39 billion in 2006. The report references Merrill Lynch investment strategists Richard Bernstein and Jose Rasco who in a new report identifies the top 10 investment opportunities in Africa. “Given its many sources of potential growth, Africa presents what could be termed ‘the final frontier’ for investors looking toward emerging markets.
