The objectives of the SA- MN Business Council are to:

  1. Increase economic activity including bi-lateral trade and investment between South Africa and Minnesota.
  2. Raise Minnesota's profile among prominent South African businesses and business leaders.
  3. Use the strength of existing relationships through networking to develop new initiatives to link people, opportunities and resources.
  4. Promote a greater understanding of US-South Africa business opportunities.

The purpose of this blog is to share information about events, resources and experiences amongst the members of the Council to accelerate the learning involved in your business dealings with SA.

Doing Business in South Africa Seminar

Please save the date for the Minnesota Trade Office's seminar on Doing Business in South Africa. This will be held on Tuesday, September 25th, 2007, and will feature Richard Zurba, Director of the Council of Great Lakes Governors' office in South Africa. Richard will also be available to meet with companies individually on Monday, September 24th to discuss prospects for their business specifically.
